High-yield FNP-BC study priorities

Priority 1

Practise the whole visit

Use cases that move from prevention and assessment through differential, testing, shared planning, treatment, education, and follow-up.

Priority 2

Rotate age and system

Track both dimensions so practice does not become adult-heavy or concentrated in a few familiar body systems.

Priority 3

Make prescribing conditional

Tie medication choice to age, pregnancy potential, renal and hepatic function, interactions, allergies, comorbidity, cost, adherence, and monitoring.

Priority 4

Watch the October 2026 change

Candidates testing after the suspension should use ANCC's new outline and compare it with this bank-aligned current structure.
