High-yield NPD-BC study priorities
Priority 1
Align the education chain
Practise matching gap, learner, objective, content, method, environment, and evaluation rather than choosing a fashionable modality.
Priority 2
Separate learning from performance problems
Determine whether the root cause is knowledge, skill, environment, workflow, resources, incentives, policy, communication, or accountability.
Priority 3
Distinguish inquiry methods
Know when the aim and design describe research, evidence-based practice, quality improvement, program evaluation, or performance improvement.
Priority 4
Plan for sustainment early
Include ownership, workflow integration, resources, measures, feedback, reinforcement, governance, and spread from the start.
